Hi - love this plugin but i want to implement it into my new site design and setup - is there any plans for this to work with VM2 and latest Jomsocial?

I may already do so but i'd rather not risk it on my live site without your confirmation. I'm trying to create an open marketplace for DJs and producers to sell their work without having to go through a label or other 3rd party, this is about the only plugin i can find that is pointing in the right direction.

No, don't use it with VM2.0


VMVendor is only compatible with joomla 1.5 and VM1.1.x
Jomsocial 2.4 is fine though

We need that VM handles downloadable goods for this.
No idea when this will be supported, and no idea when we can work on VMVendor2... I'm affraid

ok fair point - didnt realise they didnt have downloadable goods now with VM2 - not looked at it too much to be honest, they do seem a little slow with development, saying that it is a complex and large component... esp for free!

Topic: VirtueMart 1.2.0 for Joomla 2.5 released.
The working of VirtueMart 1.2 is 99% same as the current VirtueMart 1.1.9 version, not 100% because Joomla 2.5 introduced a different user group control, hence we had to make necessary changes to get VirtueMart 1.2 working in Jooma 2.5.
