Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I am still on a localhost and won't be able to grant access to that. In addition I don't know how to transfer the whole joomla page to on online server.

May I get in touch with you as soon as I am "live"? Or do you know another way?

Yes if you're on localhost, you can inspect the page using your browser right click 'inspect" feature and report any error masse (in red) displayed in the console.
- Need help? Post the URL of the related page (eventualy as confidential info), it will help solve your issue faster.
- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.

All right. Very good. I will try. I am using the "inspect" feature on other elements but did not try on the google maps plugin.

I just migrated my local version to the web and found, that the markers are shown even when I am logged in. Therefore, this post could be closed as it works.
