AltaUserPoints COMPONENT is not working was created by surveys

I have used the component before and worked well, however now when i install it to a new site it doesnt work. the only rule that works is the one for rewarding points to a New user thats all! i have created new users and even invite wont work and i have completed a full setup of the rules . How do i go about this problemn!
