You have to enlarge the thumb container in the CSS
check the .vmvthumb class in vendorprofile.css

To translate VMVendor, you need to duplicate this file:
language/en-GB/en-GB.com_vmvendor.ini

rename it to
language/pt-BR/pt-BR.com_vmvendor.ini
and translate its content.

Same for
language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_vmvendors.ini
and
administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_content_vmvendor_vendorlink.ini
