Let's keep this conversation in the forum if you don't mind
so yes. VMVendor is looking for
images/stories/virtuemart/vendor/resized/59_construct theory small file.jpg
If Virtuemart is set to resize image, the image should be there.
Also you should not leave blank spaces in a file name.

Hi there, i think i might have found the problem but not the solution.
In the Virtuemart backend category image upload i found:
/tmp :: Writeable
/images/stories/virtuemart/category/ :: Writeable
/images/stories/virtuemart/category/resized/ :: Unwriteable

However when i check with filezilla the /images/stories/virtuemart/category/resized/ directory is set to 755 and images at 644..

Do you have any ideas?
Many thanks

Don't bother the category folder we need the vendor folder to be writable:
/images/stories/virtuemart/vendor/resized/

There is/was something wrong with your thumbnail creation in Virtuemart.
or maybe this is fixed, but still products added before the the fix need to be updated.
Some products here seem to have a coorectly created and readable resized thumbnail.

Please i am late delivering this project.

I am not sure I understand your message, you seem to mention that the problem is fixed.. I just looked at the website and your component has issues everywhere..

Images attached for the:
Problem in module
Problem in the VMvendor image in the product page
Problem in VMVendor profile

The problem seems quite obvious but I don't know how to fix it, the VMvendor component and modules are trying to load images with the wrong prefix. Example the VMvendor is trying to fetch the resized image "http://localhost/fab/images/stories/virtuemart/product/resized/55.180113.134228_retrospect-galleries_rikki-kasso_ben-from-behind-600x600_240x.jpg" alt="Ben From Behind"

were the correct url for the image is actually here http://localhost/fab/images/stories/virtuemart/product/resized/55.180113.134228_retrospect-galleries_rikki-kasso_ben-from-behind-600x600_240x0.jpg
its missing the 0 before .jpg
Please please please tell me how to fix this issue...
many thanks
