Need confirmation about the functionality

I am using the VirtueMart plugin. I want the functionality like only registered users can add a product. and the public ones can just purchase something like that. Overall I don't want any single person that creates an account to be automatically a vendor. I should in a way allow them to be a vendor. please help me on how we can make it work.”

Joomla backend -> menu -> create a menu (VMVendor » Add product Form) -> access level -> registered
