Hi Chris,

Actually it makes no sense displaying it on a tablet or phone, because it aimed to be scanned by a phone and a QRcode reader. Anyway, in your case this seems to be related to the way your template handles modal box on mobile devices. Have you tryed with another template?

- Need help? Post the URL of the related page (eventualy as confidential info), it will help solve your issue faster.
- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.

Hi Adrien, yes of course it doesn't make any sense to show on mobile. Is there any way you know of to stop a module from displaying on mobile devices?
I haven't tried on any other templates yet. The screen shot is of the module in a module position (it hasn't been clicked on and opened in modal at that point)

Thanks for the help.
Regards
Chris

Some templates like yootheme's allow to disable some modules or module positions on mobiles and/or tablets.
I also could add a jbrowser check to display the chart.

Hi Adrien, I'm using Joomlashine templates and I can't find that option.
I am assuming the QR code is present on the page as a modal window by default and that's is why it isn't showing in the module position in mobile view?
Would I be able to open the module in another modal initiated from a button maybe?
I will give this a try and let you know how I get on.

Thanks for all your help
Regards
Chris

Hi Adrien,

I have the QR 2 URL module opening in a modal window initiated from a button on the right column giving the user the option of opening it rather than it being open in a modal by default. This workaround seems to work OK.
