Hi Adrien,

Yes, thanks for pointing me to the module manager. I did see the extension listed. I had to enable it. It was set to Administrator. Then as described I was able to modify the Layout as shown below and select the CPANEL position.
Please see attached

Next question: Where does this form appear?

(On fait du progres!) ... gros merci

If you set it at cpanel module position, It appears at

votresite.com/administrator/index.php
in the modules accordion on the right part of the page

:)

Hi Adrien,
Yes, now the module is enabled in the Joomla site administration. (We will next try uploading a CB csv file and set the locations.)

Here is a set of steps that might benefit the group. It helps me to understand that this batch geocoder is
-an extension
-it needs to be configured as an Administrative module
- it requires a location in the joomla backend to appear on the first page of the Administration of the site.

I think what is confusing is the CPANEL position, as CPANEL could refer to the 'friendly' host software that people have to deal with as the providers backend. This is not the case...

So I wrote down the steps that we took:
snip

Step 0: Install the geocoder zip file as an extension
site/administrator/index.php?option=com_installer

Step 1: In the Joomla backend choose the Extensions Module Manager
Admin > Extensions > Modules manager you see the site modules list.
Then click at the top on the select list from "site" to "administrator"

Step 2:
Ensure that the Batch Geocoder for Community Builder... status is Enabled

Step 3:
Once enabled, select the checkbox. Set the Layout option to CPANEL

Step 4:
Once the module position is saved as CPANEL, It appears at
site.com/administrator/index.php on the right part of the page
