Found a Bug?

Just do make it clear and not to get confused: The commend box underneath the icons is from your plugin too, right?

I am also using the Facebook Like Bar from
www.perfect-web.co/joomla/facebook-like-box-sidebar

and when I disable it the Facebox comment box disappears.

I downloaded the plugin a few days ago and no, nothing was added to the plugin.
I think the plugin has a conflict with another one, maybe in the DB?

Looking up "Share this product at" in the language override does not come up.

Ok, I confirm, the plugin got un update since you purchased it.
I doubt it fixes the issue but it adds a smooth scrolling to the FB comment anchor.

it has a vm_text class which is not part of the original plugin.

Probably from the beginning. but I noticed it today and I have no idea where the "Share this product at" line is coming from.
I am not a programmer and do not modify anything.
