This is already the case. The plugin doesn't confirm the order if not enough points on the customer account, if you disable partial payments.

I fixed the sql syntax error, you should update to 3.3.2

I installed update (3.3.2) SQL syntax error is gone, AWO coupons work fine!

You are a God!
But orders are generated every time you click checkout, it doesn't matter if there are points, no points, AWO coupons selected, Virtuemart coupons or not (don't allow partial payment)...

Yes the check for points is done after checkout.
Order is created and only confirmed if payment is confirmed.
