save products with variants selected

Hi, i have a child clothing store and need to use the wishlist component to allow users to create a birth list. The products are added correctly to the wishlist but the custom fields are not saved! so the colour the size.. all lost. so everyone who receives the link has no idea of what kind of tshirt does the list owner want..and so on
can this be solved?

please can someone answer? how is supposed to be filled a "wedding" (or whatsoever) list if even the choosen quantity of any item is stored nor the choosen variants?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes this is a current limitation. The "wedding list" feature is mostly defined by the fact that someone can claim being in charge for an item.

It seems getting the customfield values and quantity may only be possible from the product details page.
Do you need it from the browse pages too?

No I need it from detail page. Otherwise customers can not choose the option so this is the only way available on my webstore
