In the site administration, this module is not listed in the site module list but in the administrator modules list.

When you first go to
Admin > Extensions > Modules manager
you see the site modules list. Then clik at the top on the select lsit from "site" to "administrator"

nordmograph wrote: You have to find the module in the admin modules, not the front end modules (modules are set either to admin or site)
Then set cpanel as module position.

Hi folks,
We are having trouble after the install of the mod_batchgeocode.zip
We are using the extensions tab to upload it and it claims it is successful

The following text shows up underneath:

Set or update all your members Latitude and Longitude from their directions in a batch process! This Admin (backend) module shows a form where you can select a range of user IDs , choose to overwrite existing coordinates or not and click a 'process' button that gets users directions from CB or Jomsocial specific fields and sets a geocoding query for each user to set loacation from parsed latitude and longitude from Google or Yahoo geocode APIs. Set it to CPANEL position. Choose your profile manager as Community Builder or Jomsocial and fill in fields names you use, exactly as discribed in your CB fields management or JS custom profiles fields for user directions. Leave blank fields you would not use. This module is dedicated to set coordinates for the geommunity suite. it is in english only.

When we look at it in the Extensions Manager it shows up as an Administrator Module and it is enabled as follows:
Batch Geocoder for Community Builder or Jomsocial Administrator Module 1.2 May 2010 Nordmograph N/A 10025

However we do not see the form anywhere. It is unclear what Joomla tab to use to set the CPANEL position.

2 questions might trigger an understanding of how to access the form:
1)What Joomla tab is used to set the CPANEL position?

2)Is it correct to install this as an extension? If not, how is it installed and configured?

Many thanks
./pat

Hello

Go to
administrator/index.php?option=com_modules
then focus on the first select list filter.
It is set on 'Site' as default.
Set it on 'Administrator' and the module will show. It is a module only showing in Joomla adminsistration home (cpanel module position)

Hope it helps. Let me know
