Hi

version 1.5.3 should address the gravatar issue for EasySocial.
But I can't reproduce your email field issue. Does it happen for every users or only those set by the sample profiles module ?

- Need help? Post the URL of the related page (eventualy as confidential info), it will help solve your issue faster.
- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.

1. so do i need to download a new version again?

1. No I just emailed it to you
The issue got introduced while adding the gender reference in the avatar file title so these can be overwrtten easily with true photos.

2. I can't reproduce it, check with other users and let me know.

2. no, its only on fake users even there is no other required field available
