Groups Crowdfunding Suite
This advanced module turns your Jomsocial groups into Crowdfunding projects! When a member creates a new group, he is finally asked to fill in a 2 fields form in a popup asking for project funds goal and project duration. When done the module only shows on group pages displaying project informations, current funds, goal, time and funding completions with javascript countdown and charts. It shows latest donations in a table and best donators with a piechart and a table. It finaly shows a one field donation form where any member can offer AUP points to the project.
On project submission the module lets the project creator offer some incentive rewards depending on the donations amount. A reminder of what has to be sent to donators when project is successfull is available on project page in the Best Contributors tab and also emailed to project owner and donators on project complete with a link to donators profiles. (These should fill in their postal address in their profile if they are wanting to receive ther reward).
When funding project duration is over, 2 behaviours: - Funds are greater than goal so project is successfull and group/project creator automatically gets the funds as AUP points after a commission fee is deducted. Project is marked as Successfull and can be automaticaly unpublished. - Funds do not reach goal so project fails. Every donator gets AUP donations refunded. Project is marked as failed for some time then group can be automatically unpublished. The module can display every options as a whole using an accordion effect. Module has a little social bookmarking share feature for Twitter, Facebook Like (iframe or XFBML), Google buzz, PlusOne and LinkedIn buttons.
Finally Module takes full adventage of Jomsocial Activity stream feature announcing new projects, donations and project success events. Also a whole set of email notifications to people you want to be notified or not (site admin, group admin, group members, donators, facebook wall, twitter followers) for events you want to be emailed (project launched, donation, success, failure...).
