[SOLVED] How To Change Plugin Title was created by

Hi,

The title for the plugin is "AlphaUserPoints Profile". How do I change this?

Hello

Like evey J1.6+ plugins the only to change a plugin title is to use phpmyadmin. I also hope this will change in the furure...
Look at the #__extensions table.

hello,
that worked before but after updating to Jomsocial 2.8, the name has changed to "PLG_AUPPROFILE_TITLE "
and even if I change from database, it is still showing as " PLG_AUPPROFILE_TITLE "

seems there is something that is not compatible with the new jomsocial 2.8? :blush:

Hello,

You might need to add that to the language file:
PLG_AUPPROFILE_TITLE="Title for this plugin"
to
administrator/languages/en-GB/en-GB.plg_aupprofile.ini

Hello,

I am having this same issue-- I added: PLG_AUPPROFILE_TITLE="My Alpha User Points" to the language file as suggested, however, it is still displaying PLG_AUPPROFILE_TITLE.

any further suggestions?
