Adrien,
I use VMVendor and the file upload can be a downloadable product or a image.picture for the product detail.

I tried both when i upload a mp3 file in downloadable it goes into the safe path which is correct and will not be played
If i upload a picture it shows me a file name on the picture section but no player either shows up.

Is there something different with VM vendor installed?

here are some pictures - hope this helps to understand what i mean.

Alex Jordan was uploaded as a picture/mp3 and is in the prodcu folder but no player on the detail page
letmelove you was upload as downloadbale file is in the safe path and no player

I now found out that vmvendor creates sample files - vmvsample ....
This is perfect - I do not how what triggers this a upload in a download pluging or a uplaod in a picture field of vm

happen once and I cannot reproduce it
see picture - please help an explain what i did wrong

What is my mistake

OK these setting are all fine so this was not the issue.
Where are the VM sample files coming from and what triggers these files as they land in the safe path which is wrong?

VMVendor is building these sample and should add these to the public media folder.
I'll give it a try right now.

OK I just tested and the mp3 sample got added tot the correct public folder at

www.nordmograph.com/vmvendor/images/stor....162306_ambiance.mp3

as you can see at
www.nordmograph.com/vmvendor/index.php?o...gory_id=2&Itemid=122

There is on option that you can still check in VMVendor options:
administrator/index.php?option=com_config&view=component&component=com_vmvendor
Downloads tab
I guess the free files folder option should be set to 'Media folder'

Hope it helps
