Hello
you can redownload the archive and install v1.2.5
It replaces the input by a button to go to product details view.

- Need help? Post the URL of the related page (eventualy as confidential info), it will help solve your issue faster.
- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.

That only fixes part of the issue. Users can still add the item to there cart from the browse view without adding a price.
is there a way to prevent that?

Yes.
The only workaround I see is that you put these products in a specific category and do not provide a browse view menu item for that category. You would link directly to the product details page.

I've changed products.php in components/com_virtuemart/sublayouts so that it will display add to card when there is a price but then there is none it will not have a a to cart and make you click the details to add your own price and add it to the cart.
