Steep learning curve going on here, so you will have to wait till Monday for the error log file 
No error on the checkin button, it just does nothing.

User may need to allow location sharing with browser.
- Need help? Post the URL of the related page (eventualy as confidential info), it will help solve your issue faster.
- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.

HTTPS wasn't active for entire site, once that was done checkin button then worked 
Arlex at Stackideas noticed the JoomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/photos folder had not copied over.
Dreamhost are having serious problems their end with the servers, so I am waiting to see if the icons for chechin QR, poster and itinerary are updated.
I will update you by Monday.
