Hi,
running my dashboard I get this error:

Warning

Error loading component: com_geocheckin, Component not found.

Indeed I'm not able to use this component although installation was good as system said.

Which error I got?

Hi,

Does it mention com_geocheckin or com_geocheckin_social ?
Is the error showing on ES dashboard or user profile ?
Or user canvas ?

Do you have the "Geocheckin Social Suite" component listed in your Components menu ? With 3 menu Items?, If not make sure you reinstall it.

I noticed that it shows up just in dashboard.

Could you reply my previous questions ? Is it in the Front end or backend dashboard ?
Please post a screenshot if in the backend.

Hi,

Actually the message was caused by the closest places module wich should not have been in the package as dedicated to the previous version of the com_geocheckin (not com_geocheckin_social).
I removed it and the error is gone .
