Frontend profile editing causes error 500 on saving

SInce the installation of Geocommunity3, frontend editing of a profile is impossible.
Getting Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in www/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_geommunitygeocoder/geommunitygeocoder.php on line 50

Even when only core CB tabs are left published.
I installed v1.5.1 over old version com_geommunity3cb1.0.11c

Joomla 3.6.5
CB 2.0.15

I found the answer on this forum ...
In Plugin Geommunity Geocoder I left 'state' empty.

Well it should not cause a 500 error.
Check your error log for the xact error message.
Let me know.
