zip will not install in Joomla 4

zip will not install in Joomla 4 was created by jan.vanherck@telenet.be
I'm using Joomla 4.2.9
Just tried to install Odometer, using mod_flexible_odometer.zip
Dragging the zip gives an error, without any further comment
Trying to install by browsing to the zip file gives the error:

An error has occurred.
0 Undefined constant "JPATH_"

Please help.
