[solved] user synch fail

user synch freezes and put you on hold forever....

Is it a fresh install or an upgrade from AlphaUP ?
If it is a fresh install, try uninstalling, deleting the AUP db tables from PHPmyadmin anbd reinstalling the component.

I have uninstalled the whole set of altauser extensions then looked for the AUP db in the PHPadmin but could not find it so then assumed that it was removed with the installation... Then I reinstalled the component and yet the user sync is still not proceeding, it freeze with the wait rotating ball indefinitely...?

I am not familiar with PHPadmin since I am not a coder so maybe I have not done that part correctly... please give me a more step by step details for removing the old database?

AltaUserpoints table in your database are like
[prefix]_alpha_userpoints_[suffix]
1. uninstall
2. remove these tables
3. reinstall
