Thanks so much for your help here.

So, when I me remove the rules troubleshooting this, I lost all the old JS Activity history. Am I able retroactively retrieve that information an apply the points?

Actually, if you removed the old rules and re-import these, they got new rule ID.
Making the transaction details obsolete.
I would suggest using a database backup for AUP tables.
