Hi,

I just installed CB 1.2 and this plugin. However, when a user logs in and goes to his/her profile, the following error appears:

Fatal error: Call to a member function setQuery() on a non-object in /home2/everybod/public_html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbalphauserpoints/alphauserpoints.php on line 49

I am using Joomla 1.5.10, AlphaUserPoints 1.3.0 and sh404sef 1.0.19b.

Any idea why and how to fix this?

Thanks,

Carlos

Hi,

Thanks for the fast reply! It works now!

The only 2 issues I am seeing are the following:
1. The 2 columns of the new fields (User Points, Referees, Referral Link) have a different width than the default ones (Member Since, Last Online, etc):
a) The first column (the labels) is smaller. Thus, there's not enough space to have "User Points:" in one line. Instead, "User" is in the first line and "Points" on the 2nd line. Same thing happens for the "Referral Link" lable.
b) The 2nd column is way bigger than the default CB fields. In my case, since I have a module on the left column, the 2nd column ends up being wider than the available space. Thus, the referral link input box looks cut.

2. The "Referral Link" is an input box. Can it be made read-only? If I am correct, the user shouldn't be able to change it. And currently, the user could (maybe by mistake) delete some portions. This could also make it a bit confusing as the user might think he/she are able to specify their own referral code which is not true as the changes he/she make won't have any effect.

Thanks for a great and much needed CB plugin!

Kind regards,

Carlos
P.S. Should I post the same thing in the related forum of Alphaplug.com?

Somehow my screenshot I attached to the previous post didn't appear.
Here it is again (instead of uploading it, I'm not pointing to an image in my site). In case it doesn't appear in this post either, you can see the 2 minor issues I described in my website:

Hi

check the tab parameters
you can choose referral link type or field length...
etc...

I guess this is what you need

Nice! Adjusting the "Input Field Size" parameter also fixed the problems I was seeing with the width of the first column (for the labels). Now both columns are the same width as the default CB fields. :)

Since I had to reduce the "Input Field Size" quite a bit (because I have a module on the left column), now it is pretty small.
Would you know if there is a way to:
a) Make the input box "multi-line" (so that the user can see more of the input link)?
b) Make it read-only?

Thanks again!

Carlos
