- Your language file issue is because you must save your new language file as UTF-8 encoding (no Bom)
- Css should be inserted in the template custom.css or user.css for overrides.
You can also add it to the component css files but it would be overriden after updates.
If your css edit do not load it probably is because of cache.

For the facebook not showing,
The FB SDK seems to be loaded twice on the page.
The one from Strettguessr has an App id and seems to be set correctly

The other one wich is useless and from another extension, doens't have an app ID.
Can you remove that one ?
