Okay - I understood. What's still "open" in my mind is the way of defining such a blue layer map - the size seems to be smaller than the "whole world"...or? I cannot maximize the layer over all countries....

You can not change the blue layer.
It is the so called 'StreetVIew Coverage' made available by Google for streetview. If it's not in the blue layer, it doesn't have Streetview.


So when you build your map area with the black rectangle make sure it has significant blue layer area in it to render locations.

- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.
