This was not an error, just the plugin running on debugmode.
From my current investigation , the plugin does create the avatar
thesocialdomain.com/media/com_easysocial...rs/334/334_large.png
and adds it to the database (or updates) correctly.

I still have to test if the dark ES template is causing the issue.

Ok I solved this on your site.
It was not working because you changed the avatar path folder in ES setting.
Currently it has to be
/media/com_easysocial/avatars
so I updated your
/media/photos/avatars
to
/media/com_easysocial/avatars
And my N (for Nordmo) avatar showd fine on my profile.

I would like, at some point, to still use non EasySocial references and folders.
