Try Facebook debugger and it gives the og:image issue only with Easyblog

Yes you need to add open graph tags to your page.
If not FB will scrap image from other content. And it seems to work as expected as the main image is shared.

The plugin can add the og:image tag automatically if you add it as the blog item thumb.
