Good,

Uninstall VMVendor.

And open the VMVendor archive, UNZIP and get:
com_vmvendor_UNZIPFIRST.zip\Joomla3\com_vmvendor3_UNZIPFIRST.zip/com_vmvendor3.0.zip

Install com_vmvendor3.0.zip

Easy,
2 solutions, use a regular account and have that user add a product using the vmvendor menu for Product addition or
have that user update Vendor profile.

Have you created the menu items to the VMVendor pages ?
