How do commissions work

Hi,

I'm sorry, but I am struggling to understand how commissions and points work.

When a payment is made, lets say my commission is 10%. Does that automatically get deducted from the payment that is made? And then the user who owns the store withdraws the remainder as "points" to their PayPal account?

Just want to be sure I understand this correctly.

lest's say you set $1 = 100 points

If a vendor has a sell of an order for $8
-> $8 go to the Paypal or whatever MAIN VENDOR account.
-> 800 points go to the vendor account (new points, equivalent for the order price)

Okay, thanks. So if I want to make 10% commission on each sale, do I set the commission percentage to 10% or to 90% on that plan when I am creating a plan?

Does it reflect the amount the vendor gets, or the amount I make as the site owner?

It's the commission Percentage of the price going to the shop owner (Main vendor) : 10%
So in my example
$8 would be paid to min vendor and 720 points would go to the vendor points account.
