Track product page views for vendor statistics

we repeatedly face the request for traceing a vendor's product views directly, not only the store profile.

What do you think?

We could integrate our product hits counter for admin to view in the vmvendor_vendorlink plugin
But what info do you want , product hits are not dated in VM or it would need a different table...
Would you need thes info in the product details page or in the vendor profile products list ?

Hi,

it is not for public visibility or the admin (who uses analytics for it) but the vendor itself.

So far the request was not yet including a time refererence but total hits. I am sure, the time span reference will come in handy as well.
The info could be embedded to the vendor profile views / statistics view.

Btw: Yes, an interval breakdown to the vendor profile views would be great as well.
