Two maps on one page issue?

I know you cant have two maps on one page. Problem is when I assign the main geommunity module to my jomsocial menu, the main map appears on all the Jomsocial related pages. I'm unable to select/deselect individual pages or sections of Jomsocial which means I cant also have the locator module running under the user profile section at the same time.
is there a workaround for this? The locator does appear but doesnt load in the window.

Also, would having the geommunity main map appearing on every jomsocial page significantly impact the page load speeds once there's say 1000 community members? I only have about 20 users currently on the test site so difficult to judge.

You should affect the geommunity map to only one or not so many pages. Set it to an article page or if yu want to have it on the Jomsocial home , make sure you set it on the correct menu item, eventually the a menu item from the Jomsocial menu or creating a specific one.

Thanks. I followed your suggestion and created a separate article to host the map. It now all seems to work fine.

Sorry - forgot to ask...
Is there a way to change the title of the locator plug in as it currently shows up in front end as "Geommunity Locator - My Location". I'd want it to say something simpler like "My Location".
Also is it possible to change the size of the white box with username that pops up on the locator map. Or turn it off completely. The width of my sidebar is only 200px and the box comes up too big.
