Have'nt you fixed this yet?

Open adminsitrator/languages/en-GB/en-GB.plg_geommunitylocator.ini
and add:
PLG_GEOMMUNITYLOCATOR_TITLE="My Location"

Un update for JS2.8 will come soon as Jomsocial has just finally relaesed documentation for their new activity stream.

Thats not the only thing. please take a look at screenshot to give an idea why i think you really need an update.
