- Install the provided plgaup xml file as an AUP rule using the Alphauserpoinst component rule installer or manually adding a rule taking rule information from the plgaup xml file. Make sure the rule is enbled, it will be responsible for points deduction upon pruchase.
- Install plugin via the regular Joomla installer. Go to plugin manager, vmpayment and enable the freshly installed plugin.
- Go to Virtuemart backend, shop, payement methods section and add new one. Choose 'VMPayment - AlphaUserPoints' and set a Title and a default usergroup. Same page, check the configuration tab where you can set a Points/currency ratio. Make sure the payment method is enabled. It will be added to the checkout payment methods selction list.
