URL here are not SEF but Extenson , of course supports SEF urls.
You must create a hidden menu items to the VM2tags component and give it the proper name alias, like 'product-tags' and use that menu Item id value in the vm2tags component setting for 'VM2tags Menu Itemid'

This gives great flexibility on SEF. If your site is multilingual, the VM2tags router supports language strings so even SEF urls can be multilingual !

Where 'product-tags' is the menu item alias of the hidden menu item you created to VM2Tags component, it can be almost whatever you set.
