I want to add the wishlist functionality to the category layout. How is that possible?

The vmcustom plugin coming with the component is set for this purpose.

unfortunately that does not work. I don't see anything appearing. I checked the plugins, these are set and published. It's also added to the product. Can you take another look?

Do you use a custom VM template? If csutom fields are not implemented in that custom template browse view, they will not load it from plugins.
Can you try with the default vm template view?
