Can you disable the fitbounds option, to see if it's responsible for the Pacific move?
It seems the coordinates in the pacific are 0,180 ...

Can you disable Bootstrap to see if its responsible for the submenu to be stuck on the right?

Fitbounds set to NO, so Pacific-problem is solved. :-)
I added an event covering July 30 - August 7 in Norcia, Italy, but it doesn't show up in the map at all.

How can I disable Bootstrap? Sorry, no idea about this.

Is it in global configuration -> Site -> Cache?

Cache is off.

Ah, sorry.
I set load bootstrap css to NO. Menu-problem vanished :cheer: Thank you!

However, all events listed in the chosen view of the calendar (day, week, month) are still not visible, just max. one (apart from the September-things).
