I also noticed that if i log into front end as admin, the users do show, not sure if this helps. If only admin can see them, then it really doesnt serve the purpose.

I see your setting is wrong for the profile type ID.
ID is a numeric value. So I guess you should replace Advocate with 2

That appeared to take care of it. The last comment I would have on the program is that using gravatars is obvious that they are fake members. Not using them shows default avatars which again shows a site where people do not care enough to complete their profile. I guess for the price it is at least a good way to test the site and how it interacts with other components. Thanks for all of your responses and have a great day!

Yes default profile ID is 1.
