This is not a new issue.

As mentioned in this (almost) last post:
bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=675533#c51

I'm following the Github project at
github.com/w3c/permissions
As soon as the API evolves I'll improve the support.

For now what I can do is to detect the browser and display a warning message in the map canvas (before the map is displayed) to let users know that selecting 'Not now' would not load the map

Other solution (not my fav) : load the map anyway with default coordinates, and eventually relocate if user shares location.
But as a result, most users will not share location or see the notice as the map will load...
And most users will get a not accurately located map...

- Need help? Post the URL of the related page (eventualy as confidential info), it will help solve your issue faster.
- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.

Him it is sorta trivial on this one.. Which ever involves the least effort as a temporary fix is what I would go with if an update is around the corner.. However you should make the call on this one as you know what should work best.

For me, I think the best solution is to load the map anyway with default coordinates (after 5 seconds, for example).

So the map is displayed anyway and doesn't hang.

Regards.
