Did you uninstall before?
If you did and it did not help, feel free to provide admin credentials as confidential data and I'll have a look and fix it for you.

- Need help? Post the URL of the related page (eventualy as confidential info), it will help solve your issue faster.
- An error, notice or warning? report the exact message including the line number
- If you get a white page , enable error reporting and / or check your server error logs.

Hi nordmograph,

Where I am "testing" it is on a clean install of Joomla as I created a new install simply called analytics with no extensions whatsoever on it. But where it "needs" to be installed is another sub-directory install of Joomla called quizziq which is part of the main domain that we are still developing My problem is if YOU fix this "install" problem on the location what if we later have to reinstall as we are still developing the main portal hence why I would prefer to have a working installation package instead. As if it works on a clean install of Joomla then it will always install wherever we end up installing it. You going into the site and "fixing" it is not fixing the install package so that it installs correctly so really it is not a solution.

Surely you can provide a working installation package of your product just like every other Joomla product?

Thanks
Bamidele

OK, try this archive. It worked for me on a fresh install.
If you can't uninstall a previous install, install this one, uninstall and reinstall it.
It will work.
Let me know.

Hi Nordmograph,

Not sure what you did this time but this seems to work. both on the fresh install of Joomla and the actual location where we originally put it. However, you still have the two issues of 1) The "Save and Close" buttons not working as well as the "Cancel" button. and 2) That when you un-install one always has to go into the database to drop the slotmachine table (see attachment).

But this is far better than the state it was in before so this I can work with. But if you do fix the other issues in future could you let me know so I can upgrade.

Thanks
You can close this icket anyway,
Bamidele

The save and close button work fine on my side. Is it working on your side with other components? And what is the error message showing in the browser console?

Hi,

There is no error. I click on it but it does nothing as it is supposed to close the component etc.
