Now i'm trying to install the module and I'm getting this error:
"Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."

I've tried to install these two versions: mod_geommunity_2.7.4b & mod_geommunity2.7.4c

I think the problem is the same..compatibility with Joomla 1.5!! Because the xml file is there.

yes actually the xml is for joomla 2.5 but 'Ill email you the one for j1.5
