We're not sure, whether your solution is the right one for us as this all in all seems to be bit too complicated for the users. To be honest: it is already complicated for me now...
Furthermore we think that this solution doesn't provide a fixed percentual discount (like maximum discount of 30% with AUPs) which we need and which virtuemart actually provides but doesn't take us to the next step (-> to pay the rest 70%).
So we were actually expecting a solution which works with the "real" payment methods and provides a clear two-step-purchase like: chose paypal, credit card or credits.
- If pp or cc: fine, buy, checkout.
- If credits: you get discount of max. 30% by AUPs - now choose the next payment method for the rest.

Do you have a solution for this?

Well this is the solution for what you asked for.
It needs to be understood by site admin to be setup and integrated properly.
Also Remember this is what you asked for when I described it to you.

Although you did not talk about percentage before, like for any other payment methods you can charge your customers a fee for using this AUP payment.

Limiting the credits / points payment to 30% of the order amount is a another task and is not included in the paymentmethod extension I provided because you did not ask for it before.

As it is now , partial payment is only allowed if AUP is selected as the first payment method.
It creates a coupon if user doesn't have enough points for the full order, and redirects to checkout page, allowing user to select another payment method if any available (other payement methods must be setup properly to be available according to shoppergroups, countries, and minimum amounts etc...)

In our very first enquiry we asked for that percentual payment of 30% through AUP as an additional payment method.
We didn't knew that this plugin uses coupons and we thought your plugin uses the regular payment methods.

Anyway: at this status we can't use the plugin, as we need that function to set percentual limits for AUPs in the payments.
Is there a way to update the plugin with that function?
Is there also a way to change the language to like "use kanoon credits or a coupon" instead "use coupon code"? So it would be clearer to understand for our users.

So for you to understand: we need a percentual minimum payment through the users to payout the licensors of the products and we need to have a simple way for the users to understand how to use their credits.

Yes you can change any language strings as for any joomla extension.
The string you mention is located in Virtuemart language strings.

Yes there is a simple way to add the 30% maximum amount to be payable with points.
Are you sure about the 30% value?

This means in no case the order can be completed with AUP whatever the AUP points available it can not exceed 30% of the amount of the order right ?
