The referncekey is enabled in the plugin script so, it can't work propoerly withthe rule feature try this:
open : plugins/system/spendpoints_toread/spendpoints_toread.php
replace line 150

Then the rule settings for frequecies should work properly.

Now I can open every article in paid category (newly created as well) without changing the amount of points
Rule Set: "Only one per user" (method of calculating first on the list)
-//- : "One time in year per user" (method of calculating last on the list) = the same

Argh that sounds like an issue with the component.
Then set back the referecne key as it was and leave the frequency stting as default too.

I just purchase Read to pay,
But user dont get notification that they get charge (-point) when they access that article.
is posible or not to create confirmation pop up, when you access this article you get charge.?
