I have asked the hosting company to send me the error from the php log:

Undefined variable: q in ../components/com_jgifts/helpers/itemid.php on line 53
Can you please help me in getting this resolved asap. Thanks

I checked on your setup and the issue could be because there is an issue with your ALtaUserPoints install.
Users aren't synched. and synching causes an error.

I would suggest:
1. Uninstall ALtaUserPoints,
2.remove its related database table manualy
3. Reinstall AUP
4. save AUP params once
5 synch users successfully
6. Make a successfull jGifts donation/purchase

Ok, now at least your AUP users synch correctly.
I'll inspect the code and eventually do some testing. I'll let you know as soon (hopefuly tonight) as I fix it.

Can you test if the issue also arises when Joomla sef is disabled?
